Echo Beach Tourist Park

A really lovely, small caravan park one street back from the main street. The people are really friendly, bathrooms really clean and our daughter loves the guinea pigs and rabbits. There is a lovely pool too. It is wonderfully quiet and small, just what we needed. Full wifi and literally a 4 minute walk to the main street without any noise. It's our first time here to this caravan site but we would absolutely come back here again.

Me and Jan spent 3 nights in cabin 41,for our 23 anniversary, Jacky and Brian were our hosts and were great,even a bottle of wine for us to celebrate.the cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed,even a fence around it to let our dog ellie have a run around,highly recommend echo beach caravan park ,very friendly,close to everything and nice and quite,thanx again Richard and Jan

"There are 2 sides to every story " I am writing in relation to a review I read on Echo Beach Tourist Park by a Walter Mueller and his Very rude wife. It was cup weekend just gone. My husband and I were guests at the park along with a lot of other lovely families. We were sitting on the verandah of the cabin when a large Motorhome, car and trailer pulled up on the site infront of us. From the moment the woman got out of the car she started to whinge to her husband and did this continually over the days. The "Campfire" they complained about was 'One' very safe Firepit on one night being shared by various guests, who were very quiet and there was absolutely No danger to anything. The next morning when the male owner of the camp walked around the park he was bailed up by Walter's wife who immediately started to abuse him about the fire etc and very rudely chopping her hand down into her other hand while she was yelling at the owner. She would not listen at all, he remained extremely calm and in the end walked off. My husband and I were disgusted in her behaviour. That evening the lady owner, approached Walter and his wife to try to have a discussion with them about their concern over the firepit the previous night. This rude woman immediately started to yell at the owner and again started chopping her hand onto the other hand, close up at the owner who remained calm. The rude woman then went just inside her van and swore at the owner. At that point the lady owner informed Walter and the rude woman that they had to leave the park by 10 am the following morning and handed them refund money. Again she was rude but the owner calmly walked away. We have stayed at Echo Beach a number of times over the past 15 yrs and it has always been clean, friendly and a wonderful place to stay. Don't believe every review you read, as said "There are 2 sides to every story "
